In January 2008, the Schreiber Crime Watch was formed with the goal of helping neighbors work together to reduce and prevent crime in the neighborhood. The boundaries of the crime watch are south of LBJ Fwy, north of Forest Lane, east of Midway Rd, and west of Inwood Drive. Approximately 1700 homes reside in the Crime Watch area.
