• 4222 LAREN - theft (auto accessories) – removed four rims and tires from vehicle – midnight – 6:30 am – estimated value at $6,800 – 08 GMC – premises:  residence driveway

This happened to us twice as well. We put locking lugnuts on the vehicle after the first incident, which kept it safe for 18 months, at which point the thieves towed the vehicle out of our driveway to a nearby alley in order to get the wheels off. We then had a car alarm installed, which seems to be a better deterrent (knock on wood).
