Subj: Wife hurt in wreck and needs money

Good afternoon everyone.
This morning, Sunday, January 21, around 9 AM a thin set white male knocked on a
resident’s door in the 4900 block of Mill Run and said his wife was hurt in a
wreck and needed money. The man identified himself as a neighbor at 49** Mill
Run called the resident by her first name. The resident let the man in the house
and gave him $80. The alleged suspect also received money from an elderly lady
on the same block. Police have been notified and I asked the resident to notify
Bob Kelly of the Schreiber Neighborhood Association. Let’s notify our neighbors
about this.
