INCIDENT REPORT:  Neighbor on Shady Bend reports a suspicious character on 12/15 at around 11 am -” The doorbell rings and I open the door (wood door – glass door is closed) to a 5’10″ 18ish chick standing there in a “I ‘heart’ Pink” hoodie, tight low rider jeans and pink plaid canvas sneakers.  “Yes?”  I don’t know if she asked to come in or if she just did something to make me say this, but I did tell her, “I am not opening this door.  What do you want?”  She says she’s doing a “survey”.  She had no purse, no notebook, no car.  “Are you doing this for a class?”  No, she’s just taking a survey to see how many nice people will talk to her.  I think it’s “odd” and tell her that I am busy.  I call our crime watch block captain who said to check the alley for cars…she’ll check her immediate area.  I look out back, don’t see anything.  I hop in the truck,  drive up my alley,  up  my street, down the alley between Rickover and Shady Bend.  I see her walking along Crestline.  I did not see her walking on my street at the first pass.  She turns off Crestline and up Boca Bay.  I call 911.  I continued to circle and watch her location.  When the police respond (within 5 min) they find her walking in the street on Midway .”

NOTE:  the block captain has asked the Area Coordinator to ask police what happened here.  If the information can be released, it will be posted on this site as soon as it is received.
